Do yourself a favor and consider where you are traveling; chances are good there’s a store that carries baby essentials, such as diapers and wipes and formula nearby. Only pack what you need in route and pick up the rest when you arrive. It will lighten your load.

Save Space

The good news is that you don’t have to spend an extra fortune to bring baby’s stuff on board your flight with you. Baby items typically travel free, which means you can gate check your stroller and car seat and that pack and play can be loaded as checked luggage without paying a fee. Even better, you can save space in your luggage by packing your baby’s sheets inside her pack and play and zipping it up so that it all travels together.

Water Problems

Since airlines don’t allow you to travel with liquids though security, you have an issue. You might carry that giant bottle of tepid water that allows you to make a bottle of formula with ease, but security may or may not test it and allow you to bring it on. That leaves you wondering how you’re going to warm up those freezing cold bottles of water you’re going to need to purchase at the gift shop.
