It’s easy to argue against this movie theory, but Wall-E is likened to the serpent in Genesis. Humans were living in paradise, but he initiated their expulsion by introducing a plant that messed up the whole thing.
The killing curse in Harry Potter had a different version
It’s already known to fans that Avada Kedavra is the killing curse. But it’s made apparent that abracadabra, the hidden word known to Muggles, has healing qualities. How odd.
Donkey from Shrek is a castoff from Pinocchio
Given that Shrek draws from so many different fairy tales it’s not tough at all to add this to the list of movie theories. Keep in mind that there was no known cure for the transformation in Pinocchio, so it’s fair to think that Donkey was once a wayward youth.
Ned is responsible for Phil’s time loop in Groundhog Day
It’s theorized that Ned is a demon who doesn’t care for Phil’s rejection of him in the movie. When he warns Phil about the first step with a chuckle, that’s when the time loop starts.

A lot of fans of these movies won’t want to entertain this idea. But the support is that Buzz somehow knew to go stiff even when he thought he was real. So how did he know?

Dennis Nedry should have kept his hood up
This is one of the simpler movie theories. When Nedry was attempting to escape, his hood fell off when he stumbled, making him appear to be prey. Had it remained up, the dilophosaurus might have left him alone.
The Joker was a former military man in The Dark Knight
There are many movie theories concerning the Joker. But this one stems from the fact that he might have had PTSD and had extensive training in explosives. Maybe he was EOD?
Captain America is related to Star-Lord
James Gunn debunked this theory, but it was interesting to think that Steve Rogers might have had a rendezvous with Star-Lord’s grandmother. It would have also explained why he was so much more powerful than many of Ego’s children.

The timeline doesn’t really work unless one assumes that Saw took place further into the future. But the fact is that Kevin and John both have a flair for traps that deal insane amounts of damage.

Obviously, Remy would be much younger than Ego, but the house appears to be the same. Unfortunately, the director admits that they were pressed for time and reused several images.
Aladdin takes place in a timeline far removed from what people think
The animated movie makes use of several images that would only make sense if this story took place years after civilization had fallen. Plus, the genie does say he was trapped in the lamp for thousands of years.
