The 15 highest-grossing movies of all-time are going to change now and again, that’s one of the only constants in Hollywood. But for now, here are 15 of the most successful movies that have come from Tinseltown.
Avatar-$2.93B

Motion capture was already a thing when Avatar came around, but this movie blew the lid off of all expectations. With more sequels coming, the bar has been raised insanely high for the entries to come.
Avengers: Endgame-$2.79B

Not too far behind Avatar is the culmination of several movies and a lot of teasing that MCU fans were waiting to see come to fruition. To this day the final fight scene of Endgame still gets people pumped up.
Avatar: The Way of Water-$2.32B

It’s not tough to say that the second Avatar movie fell a little short of the first one. There are several reasons why that happened, but it’s an article all its own.
Titanic-$2.26B

For a while, this was the top spot that all other movies were aiming for. But as has happened since the dawn of time, something will always come along to prove that it’s better. Still, for a time, Titanic held a very prominent position in filmdom.
Star Wars: Episode VII-The Force Awakens

There’s a reason the other two sequels aren’t on here, and it has a lot to do with the idea that a return to this franchise was well-received. Unfortunately, despite the success of the last two movies, they didn’t appeal to fans nearly as much.
Avengers: Infinity War-$2.05B

At the time this movie reached its peak, it was seeking to contend with Titanic, but it was surmised that the MCU would overcome James Cameron’s masterpiece eventually. Lo and behold, the MCU has gone far over Titanic, and this movie was one of the catalysts for that occurrence.
Spider-Man: No Way Home-$1.92B

There’s been a Spider-Man craze since Tobey Maguire donned the suit. It only became stronger as time went on and Tom Holland proved to be such a great successor. But putting them in the same movie was a stroke of genius.
Jurassic World-$1.67B

The first entry in this new direction in the Jurassic Park series was received fairly well since it was something different. But fatigue set in rather quickly since the following two movies tapered off quickly.
The Lion King (Live Action)-$1.66B

This is still an impressive number, but it has a lot more to do with high expectations and nostalgia. The live-action version didn’t impress a lot of people who enjoyed the original animated version.
The Avengers-$1.52B

At the time this came out it was easy to call it one of the highest-grossing movies of all time. It wasn’t about to beat out Titanic, but it still created a massive following that had already been inherited as comic book lovers united.
Furious 7-$1.51B

There’s a reason why this is one of the highest-grossing movies of all time, and it’s not because of the story. It’s because Paul Walker’s untimely death sparked a great deal of interest in whether the franchise would continue. Yeah, I said it.
Top Gun: Maverick-$1.49B

The expectations for this movie were kind of all over the place. People were excited, they were hesitant, and they were wondering if Val Kilmer was really going to make an appearance.
Frozen II-$1.45B

Frozen broke out and created a massive buzz in Disney since the story was impressive and the hit song “Let It Go” was insanely memorable. But the sequel, while still cute, didn’t quite pull the same notoriety, even if it did make this list.
Barbie-$1.44B

It would have been a little surprising if this entry hadn’t made the list. But despite its impressive numbers, it didn’t quite break the top ten.
Avengers: Age of Ultron-$1.4B

Think of it, this is the Avengers movie that made the least amount of money, and it still broke the billion-dollar mark. That speaks very well for the MCU, at least when it comes to the earlier years.
