It’s Never too Late To Make Changes

Even the happiest people on earth sometimes want to improve their lives and make some changes. Women, especially, are always looking to improve themselves in some way, shape, or form. They want to lose a few pounds, tone their arms, get a better job, make more money, do something that makes them feel good, the list goes on. The problem with this is that many women are unsure how to go about making these changes in their lives, and they are not quite sure what means the most to them. Here are a few great ways to decide if something in your life is worth changing.

Write it Down

Every time you have a complaint for one solid week, write it down. If you think, “Ew, I hate my thighs,” write it down. Anything you complain about, make note of. At the end of the week take a count of everything you complained about and see what you had to say the most. This is how you know you need to make changes. If you complained 17 times about wanting a better job, maybe it’s time to actually get a better job.

Start Small

If you aren’t happy with something, you probably can’t change it all at once, which means you need to start small so you can work toward your goal without feeling like a failure. If you are unhappy with your weight, start small by eating a healthy breakfast and saying no to the double tall frap at lunch. You’ll feel immediately better and want to feel that way again, which will prompt you to say no to other decadent but bad for you treats, which will have you well on your way to success in no time.

Ignore Others

People will try and bring you down, because they are unhappy with their own lives. If someone tells you that it will be hard, or that it’s impossible, or that you should just be thankful you have a job, even if you hate it and it makes you miserable, ignore them. If you want to make a change, make it.
