Man Builds a House Outside Store To Camp Out For Black Friday

Jarvis Johnson

We’ve heard plenty of stories of people waking up at the craziest of hours so they can get that first shot at Black Friday sales.  And each year it seems that someone ups the ante on the lengths they’ll go to on what’s considered to be the biggest shopping day of the year.  But perhaps no one is as “dedicated” to getting a deal as Phoenix’s own Jarvis Johnson.

Jarvis actually built a house, yes a house, fully equipped with electricity and even a 40 inch television outside his favorite store in preparation for Black Friday.   And by the looks of this video it appears that Jarvis is 100% proud of himself and wants everyone to know it.  Johnson said, “I’m here early because they say the early bird gets the worm, and the early, early, early bird gets the biggest worm, and I guess I’m the bird and I’m trying to get the worm,” Johnson said. “That’s why I’m here.”

But here’s my question.  How much money did Jarvis spend to actually SAVE any money at all this Friday?  That remains a mystery.  One thing that’s not a mystery?  Jarvis is most definitely seeking publicity.  And we’re happy to honor him with it today.  Check out Jarvis’s crazy personality below.
