Book American Airlines Flights Now for Reduced Awards Travel

We love the idea of booking a flight with rewards points and mileage, and we love it even more when we can do it at a reduced rate. All that sounds like to us is more free flights and more upgrades in the future. Really, what’s not to love about that? We have taken it upon ourselves to tell you that right now if you are an American Airlines member and you are a Citi cardholder, you can do just that; book flights for less with your award points. This deal will not last long, though, so act fast if you want to take advantage of this special offer and end up with some amazing travel plans.

Basically, if you have a Citi card, you can save 7,500 points on a round trip ticket to one of the participating cities. The cities have changed since March, and might continue to chance as rewards are booked and flights are filled. The deal runs from now until May 31. You have to book your trip in that timeframe if you want to take advantage of the reduced rate for flights. Something else you should know is that you can also book one-way tickets and still save big on your next flight.

There’s one more thing you need to know. Flights that are fewer than 500 miles are only 15,000 points for a flight. However, those flights do not count during this promotion. You’ll have to book a longer 25,000 point flight to get the discount, which means you might want to consider this for your long-term flights. At the end of the day, though, it’s savings and savings on any flight is always a nice. Take advantage now while you can, and save money on your next trip to see family or your next vacation.
