15 Signs You’re the Kim Kardashian of Your Family

Kim Kardashian

Everyone knows Kim Kardashian – well, not everyone. But most people have at least heard of Kim Kardashian or seen her in some way, shape or form even if they did not recognize specifically who they were seeing on a magazine cover or news story. She’s one of the most famous women in the world. Ask us why, and we can’t really answer you. She’s famous because she is the daughter of the late Robert Kardashian, attorney to the notorious criminal OJ Simpson. She’s famous because she and has a sex tape. She’s famous because she has a shapely derriere that people love and a beautiful face that is difficult not to admire. She’s famous because she is a model and because she is the star of at least half a dozen reality stars. She’s famous for being married for just a few weeks after spending millions on a wedding. She’s famous because her stepdad is going through the process of changing into a woman. She’s famous because she named her daughter after a compass. She’s famous because she’s one of the only women in the world who isn’t put off by Kanye West, so she married him. Kim is successful, wealthy and well-known, and she’s one of six kids.

She’s a lot of things, but we are not going to call stupid one of them considering her substantial success and her ability to remain relevant at all times. Kim Kardashian is, however, the favorite child. Her mother definitely feels that she can do no wrong, and even her sisters admit that Kim is a princess and a favorite child. They give her a hard time about it in a loving and very familial manner, and Kim sometimes becomes annoyed by that. So do you relate to Kim? Or are you more like her sisters and her brother? We have one way to tell; find out if you are the Kim Kardashian of your family by seeing if you relate to one or more of the following (and let me point out that I am not the Kim K. of my family. That honor goes to my little brother).

You’re so Gorgeous Even Your Family Wonders about It

If you’re so pretty that even your family can’t figure it out, it might be because you are the Kim K. of the clan and no one is sure it’s all real.

Your Siblings Hate You

They love you, but they really do hate you. They hate you because you are the best one, even though they firmly believe you are not the best one but that everyone else is just blind.

Your Siblings Call you a Tattletale

Your siblings are almost positive that every time they get into trouble it’s because you told on them. It’s not because they committed actions that would get them in trouble – it’s because you told.

You are a Tattletale

This one is pretty self-explanatory, but we’ll explain it anyway. If things are not going your way and you feel the overwhelming need to go tell on someone to someone else, you are a tattletale. Let’s make like Elsa and Let It Go.

You take a Lot of Selfies

We all take a lot of selfies. I mean, I don’t take selfies of me alone, for example, but I do take group selfies and selfies of me with my kids (what I’m home all day and I’d like to actually be in some of our photos sometimes).

You Get Straight to the Point

You might not have a point that’s all that good, but you get right to it. Maybe you are really angry because no one told you that you look good today, so you just call them out on in first thing. It’s very Kim K. of you.

Your Family Siblings Call you the Golden Child

You’re the golden child and your siblings never let you forget it. It’s not because they don’t love you. It’s because you and your parents never let them forget that you are the Golden Child.

Your Parents Never get Mad at You

You are perfect in their eyes. Everything you do is a learning process and utter perfection. You can do nothing that they don’t consider a work of art.

You’re Never Wrong

Even when you are wrong, you are never wrong. You are not to blame. They should have done a better job raising you. Your siblings should have stopped you. It’s not you, dear; you’re perfection epitomized.

You Complain a Lot

Sorry, but it’s true. You complain. Your food is too cold. Your room is too cold. Your cat is too big. Your plate is too white. Nothing is good enough for you, ever.

You are Happy When Everything Goes Your Way

As long as everything is 100% your way and doesn’t deviate from that in the least, you are so happy with your life. It’s just how it is.

You Cry a Lot

It’s okay to cry, but you cry about everything. You are so emotional that you can’t even take it when your brother rolls his eyes at you without crying about it.

You Sometimes Speak and then Think

It happens to the best of us, but you do this a lot. You speak and then you later think about how what you said probably wasn’t very nice. The good news is that no one is mad at you because you do nothing wrong and you are perfect.

Your Family Accuses you of Taking Longest to Get Ready

You take the longest to get ready, by a mile. But you know what: It’s all right. You don’t wake up looking like this every single day. Perfection and beauty take time and effort.

You Love/Hate Your Family

You love your family because they are amazing and they are wonderful, but you hate them because they are always making fun of you and picking on you. That’s what family is for; if someone in my family didn’t tease me about something daily, I would assume they were overtaken by kind aliens.
