Easy Recipe for a Spinach Artichoke Pizza

pizza

Put spinach and artichoke together and you get something amazing. We love a good dip, but have you tried a spinach artichoke pizza recipe just yet? My husband recently made this at home, and while I’m not a big fan of pizza it was amazing. I mean, it was amazing to a point that’s difficult to even explain. What we ended up with is a new obsession for something that’s actually not overly unhealthy and a great new meal that I’m not responsible for making – and that is a win in my book (and everyone else’s, really). We have a spinach and artichoke pizza recipe that’s easy, delicious and a family favorite, which is something that has to be shared with you. The reason is that it’s just so good. You can’t say no until you’ve tried it, and then you’re going to want to say yes all the time. Here we go.

What You Need

1 can artichokes

2.5 cups flour

1 package yeast

1 bag spinach

2 cups mozzarella cheese

½ cup parmesan cheese

1 cup water

2 cloves garlic

1 tsp garlic powder

Pepper and salt to taste

3 tbsp olive oil

4 oz whipped cream cheese

You’ll start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees. You’ll pour your water in a large mixing bowl and stir the yeast in well. Add the olive oil and flour and mix well. Your next job is to form the dough with your hands, cover it with a towel and then let it sit somewhere warm for approximately 15 minutes. You’ll then want to spray a pizza pan with cooking spray. When the dough is finished rising, spread it out on your pizza pan and put your toppings on beginning with your cheese and working through the rest. When you’re doing with that, go ahead and bake the pizza for approximately 30 minutes. Let it sit a few minutes and serve while it’s still warm.
